Certificates for our Shared Readers!
Every year in Scoil an Linbh Iosa First Class pupils and their parents are invited to participate in a Shared Reading Programme. This is a programme involving a parent/guardian and their child reading together for a short time each day. The parent/guardian and child read the same story aloud together, at the same time. We run this programme over a six week period and the programme helps the child to develop confidence in becoming an independent reader. This year a large number of pupils and parents were involved and they all enjoyed their reading time together.
